Other exciting one-day-only deals include limited-edition Grand Central Terminal mini doughnuts by the Doughnut Plant for a bit over a dollar, two jumbo lump crab cakes from Pescatore Seafood Co. for $19.13, a nine-piece truffle box of Li-Lac Chocolates for—you guessed it—$19.13 and a trio of Indian spices from Spices and Tease for $10.90.
A cherished and much needed transportation hub, Grand Central Terminal boasts a pretty cool history. It opened back in 1913 and quickly became a historical feat of architecture, now featuring a total of 44 platforms—which is more than any other station in the world.
As plenty of New Yorkers know, the midtown destination is now much more than a train repository. It is, in fact, home to a massive dining concourse that caters to both travelers and folks who live and work in the area. On-premise vendors include Shake Shack, Magnolia Bakery and Prova Pizza Bar. Iconic restaurants and bars also set up shop in the station, including Cipriani Dolci, Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant and the beloved Campbell Bar.
Did you know that you can also host events there? Vanderbilt Hall, a 6,000-square-foot event space boasting 48-foot-high ceilings, is the main entrance to the terminal and can fully be rented out for whatever sort of affair you're planning.
These specific deals, however, are in place for tomorrow only—so make sure to visit then!
