Shake it off at a Taylor Swift drag queen sing-along Tuesday night
Whether you're having a cruel summer, a Swiftie summer or something in between, a one night only event will help you sing your feelings with a crowd of Taylor fans.
As part of the Museum of Arts and Design's Taylor Swift costume exhibition this summer, local and international drag star Shuga Cain (previously seen leading an Eras-themed drag brunch when Swift was in town) will host a special sing-along of the hits through the eras. Of course, it's the perfect opportunity to re-wear your Eras outfit, or wear what you would have worn to the concert if you didn't make it.
RECOMMENDED: A Taylor Swift costume exhibition is coming to New York City
Held at the museum's theater, Shuga Cain's leadership will allow for both screaming and singing, plus fun giveaways. If you haven't memorized all the lyrics, reading them off your phone (or just guessing) is fine. Tickets are $25 or $20 for members, for the event on Tuesday, August 15, at 6:30pm.
The "Taylor Swift: Storyteller" exhibit will run through March 2024, so there's plenty of time to check out the memorabilia, costumes, artifacts and more.
If you're looking for another fun Taylor outing, the museum is also offering private tours for groups of 8 to 25 people of the exhibit, at $40 a person. Standard tickets are $25.
Still want more Swift events? The Taylor Party, an enchanting Taylor Swift-themed dance party roving the country, will be making it’s New York stop at Webster Hall on Saturday, August 26. Yet another chance to re-wear or debut an Eras outfit, and make sparks fly with fellow fans. Tickets are general admission and start at $30. Keep an eye out for Karlie Kloss with the normies in GA.
