John's of Bleecker Street is giving away free pizza today!

The dollar slice may be fading out with inflation, but this pizza is even less expensive.

The historic pizzeria John's of Bleecker Street is offering free pies today only starting 4pm!

The complimentary takeout pizza party celebrates the series premiere of Revealed on News 12, a new show zeroing in on staples and secrets across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Naturally, the premiere will focus on the tristate area's favorite (and most controversial!) food: pizza. 

How to get a free pie from John's of Bleecker Street

The first 25 people who order pies for pick up from John's of Bleecker Street using the code word REVEALED will be awarded a free medium, 14-inch plain pie. And yes, this is an old school giveaway. You'll have to call John's at 212-243-1680 and actually say the code out loud for a free pie. Remember: John's famously doesn't sell slices, so you're getting a delicious, whole pie.

Set your alarm for 4pm, when the promotion kicks off and the phone lines will probably get busy. The deal lasts until 6pm but we're guessing New Yorkers will be excited to order free pizza ASAP in this economy, so make sure to call immediately.. 

Revealed airs on News 12 at 7:30pm, so you may want to keep the pie warm in the oven before screening, or just go slice by slice to get through the afternoon. When you watch the show, you'll see New York and New Haven pizzerias, including John's of Bleecker, of course. Icons only.
