KITH and the Brooklyn Museum dropped a merch collab in honor of Black History Month
When we think of brands that have shaped the trajectory of New York fashion, KITH would definitely have to be at the top of that list. The beloved label created by Ronnie Fieg in 2011 has worked with heavy hitters, including Adidas and Nike, to expand New York's irreverent fashion sensibilities globally. It's latest collaborator, though, is much closer to home: Brooklyn Museum.
In an iconic partnership we're very excited for, KITH and the Brooklyn Museum created a joint collection in honor of Black History Month, celebrating artists from the borough through rare, limited-edition garments.

Even though you can shop for some of the collection online, it's worth paying the museum an IRL visit. KITH will present artwork from the last five years of its Artist Series in the Martha A. and Robert S. Rubin Pavilion on the first floor throughout February.
A pop-up shop at the museum itself will carry The Artist Capsule, which will include shirts featuring the work of artists Alvin Armstrong, Marcus Troy, Penda Diakité and 11 others.
In addition to the Artist Capsule, the pop-up shop will also sell items that pay homage to the New York institution, including an impressive varsity jacket with a sketch of the Brooklyn Museum's iconic facade on the back. Other items include KITH hoodies with the Brooklyn Museum logo, crewnecks, sketch tees, and customized caps from the Dodgers, Mets, and Yankees—all under KITH's label.
