A new family-friendly food festival is coming to NYC for the first time ever next month

As the season of food festivals gradually approaches (assuming the weather finally decides to cooperate), a new event joins the local lineup: the Family Style Food Festival, a (you guessed it!) family-friendly extravaganza that combines the best of local cuisine with the vibrant streetwear scene.

The new destination will debut at Industry City in Brooklyn on Saturday, May 17, at 1pm, featuring a pretty stellar lineup of top chefs from around the country—including many famous New York destinations. Attendees will get to grab fare from beloved Cantonese restaurant Bonnie's, for example, finger foods from Double Chicken Please, all sorts of delicacies from Katz's, treats from Kith, pizza from L'Industrie and Lucali. Win Son, Russ & Daughters, Scarr's Pizza and Cosme are also setting up shop on site!

In addition to all that food, attendees will revel in a curated music playlist, get to spend time with their little ones in the kids' area and even shop through a range of limited-edition streetwear pieces that will be sold at the festival. Basically, you'll want to spend all day over here.

Tickets for the event are currently on sale right here. The general admission pass will cost you a little over $40, but you can also opt for a three-ticket or five-ticket bundle that will lower the entry price pretty significantly. If planning on going big, though, consider investing in the $170 VIP ticket, which also features complimentary food and open bar, plus a free branded shirt and tote.
